Leonardo, a generative AI platform, offers many tools such as inpainting, unzoom, image upscaling, background removal, and masking. In 2025, the Flow State tool provides a real-time, continuous, and infinite stream of images from the same prompt. The Realtime Generation tool allows users to modify their prompt and add styles (Anime, Cinematic, Sketch...) in real-time.
Leonardo also seems to stand out with an AI tool dedicated to design and architecture.
Leonardo uses the AI models Stable Diffusion and Flux, but also launched its own model, Phoenix, in July 2024. This model is integrated into the Canva platform, specialized in online graphic design since 2010, to enhance its features and offer AI image generation.
